Sidima Mooi

Sidima Mooi is a qualified teacher at Masibambane Senior Secondary School teaching English and Life Orientation. Port Elizabeth born and bred. He takes keen interest in sport and social issues. Developmental person in nature.

Coaching cricket, tennis and squash at school. Passionate about career education. He always guides learners in different career paths. Has served on the Task Team of Transformation in EP Cricket. Is a Vice Chairperson of Eastern Province Cricket High Schools.

    Has worked at Nkqubela Community Radio (KQFM) as Community Liaison Officer also hosting labour education program in collaboration with Workers World Media Production (WWMP) from 2004 to 2009. Worked for Alternative Information Development Centre (AIDC) that is based in Cape Town doing advocacy for social and community organisation from 2006 to 2008.

    Former educator/researcher at Khanya College that is based in Johannesburg during the year 2009. Currently finishing Honours Degree in Development Studies at NMMU and part of the United Front in the Nelson Mandela Bay.

      Buyile Petros

      Buyile Petros has worked at the South African Council of Churches 15 years (period 1980 – 1995) as a field worker and General Secretary East Cape Council of Churches, in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and Administrator for Civil Society Forum. He is now currently the Manager of Lillian Ngoyi Sport Centre (Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality).

          Unathi is one of the founding members of Unako, has served as both deputy chairperson and chairperson previously, and then assumed the position of Executive Member in 2014. Has worked as Research Assistant for the Centre for the Community School (NMMU). He has a Btech in Public Management (NMMU).

          Andiswa Mvanyashe

          Andiswa Mvanyashe, a former isiXhosa lecturer at NMMU and currently freelancing as an IsiXhosa Language Practitioner and finishing her Phd in isiXhosa Language. She has a BA degree in Media Communications and Culture, BA Honours in isiXhosa and also holds a Masters in isiXhosa all from NMMU.

          She has worked for Traslate.org as an isiXhosa language practitioner and did an internship Gnome under localisation for isiXhosa language and Communications Intern at Renault South Africa in Johannesburg. Assisted in the creation of Intinga Journal isiXhosa department at NMMU.
